Sound Healing II - Chakra Activation

Each of the chakras in the body is paired with their corresponding gland, and an organ complex, mostly in the area around the chakra. But actually my Guru states that chakras are conscious vortexes and suited in the brain, which to my perception is true. The physical body parts AND the correlating areas in the brain AND the states of consciousness can be activated with sound waves. For example in tantric practises we use bija mantras (seed mantras) to activate them. But some yogic traditions also use only om as bija mantra (I-E-A-O-U-M is the full sound). There is a whole science in the yogic tradition about the impact of mantras on our body and consciousness. Anyway amazing how this very ancient tradition existed also - differently of course - in the western world as well and was recovered again in the 1990th (Sound Healing I).

Root chakra — Reproductive glands, control sexual development and secretes sex hormones
Sacral chakra — Adrenal glands, regulate the immune system and metabolism
Solar Plexus chakra — Pancreas, regulates metabolism
Heart chakra — Thymus gland, regulates the immune system
Throat chakra — Thyroid gland, regulates body temperature and metabolism
Third Eye chakra — Pituitary gland (hypophysis, glandula pituritaria), produces hormones, governs the function of the five lower glands. Sometimes the pineal gland is linked to the third eye chakra as well as to the crown chakra
Crown chakra — Pineal gland (epiphysis cerebri, glandula pinealis), regulates biological cycles, including wake/sleep states

Jivanmukti about Pituritary & Pineal Gland

The Mother gland - the Pituritary gland and the King Gland - the Pineal Gland

"The pituritary gland, along with the hypotalamus, is the mother of all the lower glands, and is the key to bio spiritual activation, to emotional refinement and bio spiritual transformation...The pineal glands activation and the spiritual breakthrough happens only due to the prior activation of the pituritary gland."
